Player Control


Welcome to the development log of our game project. This log will document our progress, challenges, and solutions as we build the game.

Game Controls

Here are the implemented controls for the player:

- W / A / S / D or Arrow Keys - Move the player

- Spacebar - Jump (only when on the ground)

- Mouse - Rotate the camera

- Mouse Scroll Wheel - Zoom in/out

- P - Pause or resume the game

Development Progress

We have successfully implemented core movement mechanics, camera controls, and basic game state management. The player can move and jump, and the camera follows smoothly with adjustable zoom and rotation.

Challenges Faced

One of the main challenges was ensuring that the camera collision worked correctly to prevent clipping through objects. We also worked on refining the game's pause system to ensure smooth transitions.

Next Steps

Our next steps include adding animations, refining level design, and implementing new game mechanics such as power-ups and obstacles.
